Marisa Dargahi Commercial VO Master Class Tuesday, 6th December 10am UK

Nov 16, 2022 | Booth Chat | 28 comments

Hello guys here’s another fantastic opportunity to get free commercial voice over coaching advice from the world class coach and talent Marisa Dargahi who will be visiting Booth Chat for the second time.

For me she still remains one of the best guests we’ve ever had. It’s a session not to be missed!

Marisa will be helping 8 lucky Booth Chat members with their commercial reads during a one hour session with a difference on Tuesday, 6th December 10am UK time. This time Marisa will be critiquing our recordings! The 8 readers will record the script (see below) in their own time, send the recordings to me and then we’ll listen back to the recordings together as a group while Marisa gives us her feedback.

The 8 readers are:

  1. Emma Griffiths
  2. Tom Fellows
  3. Jane Wing
  4. Jacqui Sanchez
  5. Chloe Gilgallon
  6. Lorraine Cairney
  7. Kerry Hutchinson
  8. Bruce Fielding

Please make sure you send me your recordings no later than Sunday 4th December and please put your name on the file, (see the selection process in the video below). All other BoothChat members are welcome to observe on mute!

    Yes, please, Tom.

Talking of hats, In the old days, if we couldn’t or wouldn’t pay an invoice, we often sent this:
“Every month we put all of our outstanding invoices into a hat. Your invoice was entered into the hat last month but unfortunately failed to be drawn for payment. We’re not saying that the draw is fixed, but It will almost certainly win next month.”
