Hello guys, here are the 2 scripts for this week’s Booth Chat, Tuesday 11th June 2023 10am UK.
You’re welcome to bring along one of your own scripts but please keep the word count to around 80 words and have the script ready to post into the Zoom chat!
Also it’s really helpful if you can let me know in the comments section below if you think you’ll be able to attend, thanks so much.
Looking forward to seeing and hearing you there!

Below is the summary of the new format which is all about keeping things moving and making sure everyone who wants to read gets the opportunity.
- 1 hour session
- Anyone can attend, reading or not
- First 5 minutes – put your name down to read and make sure you have already done a cold read before we begin.
- If you arrive after 5 minutes past the hour you won’t be able to read.
- Use alphabet to select readers from those interested (this week in reverse order starting on ‘V’).
- Divide remaining time among selected readers and me or a volunteer will keep time.
- Much stricter on timings to avoid overrunning and ensure everyone gets to read!
- Can we please all be mindful of the limited time and keep feedback brief!
SCRIPTS
SCRIPT 1: First Rinse. This is for an animated 3D video whose purpose is to help first time customers of the laundry service “Rinse” understand how it works and what they can expect the first time they use it. We’re wanting it to be a fun, light hearted tone similar to the animated sequences from the animated sequences in the movie “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” click here for reference, but with much higher energy.
Thanks for choosing Rinse!
We can’t wait for you to experience the joy of NOT DOING YOUR LAUNDRY.
Here’s what to expect….
To get started, create your account at rinse.com or on the mobile app.
Then tell us what day you want your valet to pick-up your first load of laundry.
We can even pick up the same day you sign up.
Remember, you wear the pants in this relationship. We just wash them.
SCRIPT 2: A voice over for a promotional video to market a successful Swedish game show format to other countries. We want to create a fun but not overly cheesy tone that sells this interesting and inventive show for the unique format that it is.
We are looking for a fairly quick delivery
Two celebrity teams; 3 game rounds; 3 journeys…
All aboard for a 1st-class format that takes you around the world!
Running since 1987, ‘On the Right Track’ is Sweden’s most popular game show.
Each game round starts with a journey to an unknown destination.
From two soundproof train carriages, our celebrity teams must figure out where our train is heading.
Our host shares cryptic clues about the mystery location. But our celebs need to act fast, because time costs points!
The faster they pull the emergency handle, the more points they will win.
Without further delay, let’s get… On the Right Track!
