Hello guys, here are the 2 scripts and the recording for this week’s Booth Chat, Tuesday 18th July 2023.

Please don’t forget to let me know if you’d be interested in attending the free “Authenticity In Voiceover” Discussion and Q&A with Debra Sperling! Click here for details and to put your name down.

Recording below scripps

As I mentioned at the end of the session we were joined by Michael Montes who is the founder of the VO workout group that inspired me to create Booth Chat. I can’t thank him enough for his inspiration, ideas and help with Booth Chat and for coming along, at last, to one of our sessions, reading and giving us such helpful feedback!

SCRIPTS

SCRIPT 1: Tech Company Metaverse Sizzle. We are looking for a VO talent to be the voice of an anthemic sizzle video for shareholders’ meeting. The voice we are looking for is confident yet inviting. A Voice that can provide the human element to an entirely tech piece.

Navigating the intricacies of a constantly evolving world is challenging.
As cities, supply chains, and industries intertwine in a web of connectivity, we lean on technology to guide us.
We, at [Company], see the [product] as a critical opportunity to solve these challenges while boosting productivity, driving eco-conscious operations, and empowering more future-ready organizations.
AI, cloud computing, digital twins and Mixed Reality allow organizations to be more immersed in their operations using real-time data to visualize scenarios like never before.

SCRIPT 2: This is for a TV advert for a soft close/quick-release toilet seat. We are looking for a friendly and informative style read. This style should be clear and concise, helping viewers understand the product’s features and the current offer.

I’ll be there but I will have to read script 1, I’m being childish and cant get through script 2 without fits of giggles. The idea that a soft close lid will bring “peace and silence” to a bathroom….
